I design experiences that help people learn new concepts and apply new skills to create highly impactful changes in behavior.
Lasting behavior changes happen when learners engage in the learning process. My instructor-led training sessions are REAL: relational, experiential, applicable, and learner-based.
Relational: Our brains are wired to learn from others. Relational learning encourages learners to share thoughts and ideas in pairs or small groups.
Experiential: We remember what we do. Learning by doing helps learning stick through discovery and guided debriefing.
Applicable: Learning matters when it can be used. Applicable learning fortifies behavior change and answers the learner’s question: “What’s in it for me?"
Learner-based: The best learning experiences use methods appropriate for the audience and focus on how they learn best.
